madbird

madbird is Alecia and Rob Miller.  We met in art school, where we graduated with BFAs in 1999, and now live near Boston, Massachusetts with our four sons.

Alecia is a former public school art teacher.  In 2009, several years after she left teaching to be home with our first son, Alecia opened shop as madbird on Etsy.  She is the product designer and creator for everything offered in the shop.

During his off hours as a consultant, Rob takes care of all madbird photography, media design and product shipping.

Alecia likes scary movies, gardening, keeping the birds in our yard well fed, cooking, taking the boys to the beach, knitting, and of course - sewing!

Rob likes reading to the boys, finding good music, and Alecia.

Fantastic design--so much nicer for interchangeables than the stiff plastic containers they are sold with.  Fun fabrics and excellent workwomanship.  Great quick service, too.
